FAQs

Is Virtus in person or virtual?

1

Virtus is fully virtual. Your 1:1 sessions and the group sessions all happen online, so your athlete can take part from anywhere. The one in-person perk: when a mentor is playing nearby, members get free tickets to come watch.

What ages is Virtus for?

2

Athletes ages 12-19. We meet each athlete where they are, whether they're just starting to take their sport seriously or already chasing the next level.

How do we pick the right mentor & what happens if the one we pick is not the right fit?

3

Each month you log in, see who's available, and book a 30-minute session with any mentor in the network. Don't overthink the first one. You can stay with the same mentor to build a real relationship over time, or try someone new based on what your athlete is working on.

Also, you're never locked in. Book a different mentor the next month. Finding the right connection sometimes takes a try or two, and every one of our mentors gets it.

What actually happens in a session?

4

Real conversations. Setting goals, working through a slump or an injury, dealing with competition and playing time, building confidence, balancing sport with school and life. Sessions are led by what your athlete brings to the table — and whatever it is, the mentor has been there.
